Here's the few cats I've drawn ...

My Fluffy!

This is a chalk pastel - my latest as of 5/1/08 - he was a wonnerful cat. He was very friendly and loving. His name was Fluffy cause his tail would fluff up EVERY time he got scared by a sound.

He was saved two times from toleramia - which is a disease that cats get from the rabbit meat in Alaska - it's rampant in the little rabbits. But I KNOW that Fluff took down a full grown rabbit too. He had a high fever and was saved twice from death. I caught him just in time. After the second bout with this disease he was more skittish. But he was still friendly.

My Fluffy - a wonderful friendly BESTEST cat I've ever had.

On Christmas day - I let him out - and he never came back - for 6 days or was it 7. One of those days - I heard a meow ... I went and looked under our house and there was Mr. Fluff trotting to me - and meowing. He was stuck under the house trying to keep warm. Although our heating system was not that well sealed and he was keeping toasty - there was also some water - but he was really hungry. He lived another year and a-half or two years and was put to sleep about 16.5 years old of kidney failure. He would drink a ton of water and then pee ... maybe it was diabetes - but it was incurable and he was getting skinnier.

Here's to Mr. Fluffy - GREAT CAT! Also, this pic doesn't do him justice - but it was a good try! :)

Itty Bitty Quizzy Kitty

Quizz was sleeping on the couch when this was taken.  This is my daughter's kitty - Itty Bitty Quizzy!  He's a very large cat now.  But still very cute.

This is Sweet Smiling Cat.  His name was Uncle Broadbent - I don't know if he reminded the owner of his uncle or what. I couldn't figure out what was happening with the blurry pic I was given with his front paws.  Something was unappealing to the people who commissioned it - I took it back.  I also had done the whole body of the cat which I found very boring - so I just chopped off the back of the cat and kept with the more important part of the cat.

He is sweet and he is smiling -

I may have done one other cat - it's name was Snowball - white chalk pastel ... and a cat named charcoal - in 1978 ... but that's about it ... I've rarely found cats I enjoy doing drawings of ...

Enjoy the Art and I hope it takes you 'there'.
