Cottage at 77 Fifth Street, Ashland, Oregon.  Cute Blue Craftsman Cottage.  Cute as a bug's ear - not that I've ever seen one ...

I'm still in the process of doing a series of 7 houses from Ashland, Oregon.  I haven't finished it - I am only to the fourth house and have three left to do.  I have a pile of pictures from Ashland houses - it's just a matter of time, energy and inspiration till I finish them.  I do need to re-draw the one on Fifth Street as it's my favorite place in the whole world to be ... beautiful blue house - craftsman style ..

When the mean price for a house in Ashland, Oregon is a mere $600,000 - this cabin is all any normal person can afford - unless they are made of money!

This cabin is called, "Affordable Housing in Ashland" - it is above the small garden along Eagle Mill Road in Ashland.  It's alternate name is, "Becky on the Couch".  Cute dog and I have petted her quite often or just talked to her as I pass along on my walk.  There are so many things/details to enjoy when looking at this picture - see what you can see...

This is a lovely cottage in Ashland that I called, "Christmas Cottage" this is because of the majority of the colors being white, green and those lovely red flowers.  I gave this to my son for birthday or a Christmas present IF he would believe that heaven would be as beautiful as this drawing.  I enjoyed drawing this immensely.

swancottagejohn14.jpg

Swan Cottage - this is someone who LOVES swans.  In the lower duck pond in Lithia Park there are sometimes a pair of Trumpeter Swans.  They even have babies sometimes.  The person who cut out the swans and painted them - definately is very talented and loves their craft.  For the last year and 1/2 of my Aunt Jean's life this drawing was cheering her and encouraging her to the end. I told her it was a representation of the verse in John 14 about Jesus having a place for her.  Also, Michelle Tumes wrote a song that spoke of a place for the Gypsy Heart and she was definately a gypsy .... never able to sit still for a moment.  In heaven she can run around all she wants and see things that she never imagined this world could ever give her.  I know she is at peace now.

These are my 4 of a series of 7 of Ashland Homes - I will create more ....

Enjoy the Art and I hope it takes you 'there'.
